Police discovered a large quantity of cannabis in an abandoned vehicle dumped on a street in Batley.
West Yorkshire Police's Batley and Spen NPT had been contacted by concerned residents in the surrounding area.
Officers conducted a search of the vehicle after realising it was unlocked.
The secret haul of cannabis had an estimated street value of £3,000, the NPT said.
The drugs have now been seized and taken off the streets of Batley.
Anyone who has concerns about drug production and dealing in their area can contact West Yorkshire Police via 101 or through the live chat on the West Yorkshire Police website.
People can also report information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Following a previous raid on a suspected cannabis farm, Inspector David Bates of the Batley and Spen NPT, said: “West Yorkshire Police does investigate all drugs-related intelligence, and I want to take this opportunity to thank those who come forward to report drug crime and dealing.
“Money from such drug production fuels violent organised crime and I urge residents to put a dent in criminals’ pockets by helping us to take such drugs off our streets."
