A 41-YEAR-old man has been jailed for six months for possessing a kitchen knife on a Bradford street.
Manazar Hussain, of St Hilda’s Terrace, Thornbury, was found guilty of possessing a knife in a public place following an incident on July 24, 2022.
This took place on St Hilda’s Terrace.
Hussain pleaded not guilty to the charge and a trial was held at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court.
At the hearing on May 23, the defendant was found guilty and jailed.
Court documents show magistrates found the offence of a serious nature.
He also pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to court bail in February.
Hussain was ordered to pay £154 to the courts as a surcharge to fund victim services.
