THE sun is out and summer is just around the corner meaning many people will be more than likely sitting outside a pub enjoying a sweet beverage.

Bradford has tons to offer for punters eyeing a sociable drink while topping up their tan.

With temperatures recently touching 20C, this Bank Holiday Weekend almost feels like the start of the much-loved season.

We asked you for your favourite beer gardens across the district and received a nice range of responses.

A few pubs were mentioned several times by our readers. These included The Corn Dolly, Shoulder of Mutton, The Royal Oak, and Chapel House.

Kieran Boothy, Karen Firth and Sharon Gill all named the former which is located in the city centre on Bolton Road.

Despite being in Shelf, many of you are prepared to travel to the Shoulder of Mutton.

Deb Shaw described the pub on Carr House Lane as a "hidden gem".

Low Moor's Chapel House was named by James Lyles, Sabrina Willan, and Charlene Green.

Anne Carroll was at the "absolutely packed" Royal Oak, on Stoney Lane, enjoying the hottest day of the year.

She is not the only one who loves the Eccleshill pub.

Angela Sharp, Glenn Webster, Cynthia Benton, and Jack Muscroft also named it as their favourite beer garden.
