A BRADFORD man has appeared in court after being caught with cocaine at a London tube station.
Zambak Lumshi, 44, of Rawson Place, Bradford, faced one charge of possession of a controlled drug of class A – cocaine.
He was caught in possession of a small plastic bag of cocaine at Turnpike Lane Underground Station, Green Lanes, Tottenham, London, on July 14, 2022.
Lumshi was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £48 victim surcharge for the offence. A collection order was made by the court at the sentencing hearing.
The cocaine will be forfeited and destroyed by West Yorkshire Police.
Lumshi pleaded guilty to the charge that he faced and was sentenced at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court on May 11, 2023.
