A MAN has been arrested following an incident on a Bradford street this morning (May 23).
Officers were called to the scene, in West Bowling, just before 10am to a report of criminal damage.
The road was closed while enquiries got underway.
West Yorkshire Police is working to establish the circumstances of the incident.
In a statement, a spokesperson said: "At 9.55am this morning, officers received a report of criminal damage where an alleged firearm had been discharged at a vehicle in Round Street, Bradford.
"Officers attended and significant debris was found, which would suggest a vehicle has been damaged."
The spokesperson added: "No one was reported to be injured or in the vehicle at the time of the incident and there is no evidence to suggest a firearms discharge.
"A man was arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries remain ongoing to establish the circumstances."
