A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder after several cars were damaged.

West Yorkshire Police is investigating reports of criminal damage to a number of vehicles and a property on Crag Road, in Windhill, Shipley.

It happened at 12.36am on Sunday.

Footage from Back Crag Road in the aftermath shows at least four cars parked up with their windscreens smashed.

There is also debris littered across the ground.

Officers have arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of violent disorder.

He remains in custody at this time.

Bradford CID is continuing its enquiries into the incident. 

Police are appealing for information or any witnesses.

A full statement from West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are investigating after reports of criminal damage on a number of vehicles and a property on Crag Road, Shipley.

"It happened at around 00.36 on Sunday, May 21.

"A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and remains in police custody at this time.

"Enquiries are ongoing by Bradford CID."
