SEVEN people were injured, including two who suffered life-changing injuries, in a serious three-car crash on a Bradford road last night. 

At 11.23pm last night officers were called to reports of three vehicles in collision at the junction of Frizinghall Road and Keighley Road - opposite Lister Park. 

In a statement, West Yorkshire Police said: "Seven people were taken to hospital, two people suffered serious life-changing injuries whilst the others were treated for minor injuries.

"Enquiries are ongoing by the Roads Policing Team.

"Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact police via 101 or use the live chat facility at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/contactus quoting log 2238 of May 21."

A spokesperson for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 11.36pm to reports of a multi-vehicle collision on Keighley Road, Frizinghall, Bradford.

"We sent a number of ambulances, a critical care paramedic and a team leader. 

"We took five patients to a number of different hospitals."

The West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue sent crews from Shipley and Fairweather Green to the crash, and one spokesperson described the incident as "quite serious".
