POLICE cars, many of them from Lincolnshire Police, swooped on three addresses in Bradford today (Thursday) and arrested two men on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
An operation involving a number of police vehicles led by the Lincolnshire force involved drugs warrants at three addresses in the Lidget Green and Little Horton areas of Bradford.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: "We carried out three warrants in Kirkham Road, Horton Grange Road and Waverley Road in Bradford this morning with the support of specially trained officers.
"This was part of a pre-planned operation to investigate drug offences. A 41-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and remain in police custody."
Prior to the arrests, a number of police cars gathered to prepare for the swoop.
This morning, a member of the public contacted the T&A to say he spotted 20 police vehicles parked up in the former Hare and Hounds car park, on Toller Lane, in Heaton.
"Looks like something is about to happen soon," he said. "Hare and Hounds pub car park in Heaton has 20 police cars / vans / unmarked cars. This was at 7.20am. Just seen it whilst walking past."
