THE proposed change of use of agricultural land at Moss Bar Farm, Colne Road, Cowling, near Keighley, to a dog exercise field has been given the go-ahead by North Yorkshire Council.
An officer's report, in recommending approval, states it is an expansion of dog exercise facilities at the farm, which already has one field for the purpose.
It states: "The proposal would result in a significant change of use of a parcel of land measuring approximately two hectares. However, the proposal is for diversification of the agricultural enterprise and is an expansion of the dog walking field approved on the adjacent field under the same ownership."
Trees will be planted on a side nearest to other properties. Permission was given by officers using delegated powers.
