A BRADFORD man has been fined after breaking Covid travel rules at an airport.
Irfan Meherban, 41, of Farfield Terrace, Bradford, didn’t provide information on a passenger locator form when he arrived at Manchester Airport on January 28, 2021.
Meherban landed at the airport from Doha in Qatar. He faced a charge of failing to provide information on passenger locator form on arrival into England.
For the charge relating to the Covid locator form, Meherban was fined £370, ordered to pay a £37 victim surcharge, and £90 costs.
He was sentenced at a single justice procedure hearing held at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on April 26, 2023.
