A NEW Morrisons Daily store will be opening its doors in Bingley later this month.
The town’s McColls on Ashfield Terrace, off Bradford Road, will soon be converted into the new Morrisons convenience store model.
The Bradford-based supermarket giant purchased the McColls chain last year, and announced it planned to convert hundreds of branches into Morrisons Daily stores.
The plan for the Bingley branch first emerged via a licensing application from Morrisons to Bradford Council for “internal alterations and addition of conditions regarding deliveries of alcohol from the premises.”
When contacted about the change, a Morrisons spokesperson said: “We can confirm and we're excited to announce that we're planning to relaunch the McColl's store on Ashfield Terrace as a Morrisons Daily later this month."
