BRADFORD Cadets helped the city celebrate the coronation with a special garden party.
The event was held at the Cadets’ base at Faversham Street on Saturday, May 6.
Those who attended also watched the service together with a special television screening at the venue.
The event included food, a barbecue and stalls for those who attended. Members of the Cadets were also suited and booted for the event in their uniforms.
A raffle was also held which featured a selection of coronation cakes and tickets for Bradford matches being raffled off.
Kathy Hall, event organiser for the Bradford Cadets, said: “The day has gone really well.
“We have had a good turnout. It has been a good day. We watched it (the coronation) together.
“It was a really nice experience. The Cadets have enjoyed themselves. We raffled off coronation cakes and Bradford City match tickets.”
