A MAN has been jailed for four and a half years for sexually abusing a teenager in Bradford.
Carl Harrison, 40, of Pickles Street, Keighley, was today sentenced at Bradford Crown Court after admitting offences of sexual assault.
He was given a restraining order and must sign on the sex offender register indefinitely.
After the hearing, Detective Sergeant Matthew Harrison, of Bradford Safeguarding Unit, said: “We welcome the sentence handed down to Harrison today.
“I would like to praise the bravery of the victim in coming forward and reporting these crimes. I hope today serves as some justice.
“Bradford Safeguarding Team would encourage anyone who has been a victim of sexual assault to come forward and report it. Your case will be treated with sensitivity and we will do all we can to bring offenders to justice.”
