A BRADFORD shopping centre will be transformed into a royal wonderland this weekend to celebrate the King’s Coronation.
Kirkgate Centre will take on a royal theme tomorrow (Saturday, April 29) with stilt-walking kings guards and a Buckingham Palace backdrop and props.
A free craft workshop will be held at the centre between 11am and 4pm, where children can get creative and make their own royal-themed crafts and write a personalised letter to the King himself.
Shoppers will also get the chance to win a royal-themed hamper, as a treat from the team at the Kirkgate Centre.
To be in with the chance of winning, all they have to do is take their best selfie in front of the Buckingham Palace backdrop with the props and post it on social media.
The Buckingham Palace backdrop and props will be in the Centre until May 8, with the competition running till May 10.
The selfies can be shared with Kirkgate Centre via direct message or tagged directly in posts via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Catherine Riley, centre manager for The Kirkgate Shopping Centre, said: “We’re more than excited to transform the Kirkgate into a royal wonderland in time for the Coronation of our King. The kids will absolutely love it.”
