A child has been taken to hospital following a crash on a major Bradford route.
West Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service were called to reports of a collision on Manningham Lane, close to Oak Lane junction, around 4pm today (April 27).
It involved a pedestrian and a car.
The child's injuries do not appear to be life threatening or life changing, a police spokesperson confirmed.
The child was taken to hospital to get their injuries further assessed.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "We received a number of emergency calls around 4pm on Thursday afternoon to report a collision between a car and a child on Manningham Lane, Bradford.
"An ambulance, rapid response vehicle and team leader were dispatched to the scene and the child was conveyed to Bradford Royal Infirmary."
Traffic update
Road closures are now starting to lift and traffic queues are starting to ease.
First Bus has put a temporary diversion in place for three bus services, including the 622, 626 and 680.
The 622 and 626 will be diverting via Frizinghall Road, Canal Road, Bolton Lane, and Queens Road.
The 680 bus will divert via St Mary's Road, Church Street, and Marlborough Road.
The bus company will be providing updates about the diversions on its social media pages as well as the First website.
