BRADFORD’S first drive-thru Greggs is taking shape ahead of its opening next month.
The bakery chain will open a branch on Rooley Lane in May after work began on the site late last year. It replaces the former Cross Keys pub which was demolished in November 2021.
The familiar Greggs logo can now be seen at a number of points on the building as signage has been put in place.
Work is continuing both inside the store and on the outside drive-thru area to get it ready in time for an unconfirmed opening date next month.
The drive-thru site also includes electric vehicle charging points that have been installed in the car park.
The Greggs store is likely to create between 20 and 25 jobs, and is expected to open from 6am to 10pm.
