TRAFFIC is backing up on and near the Stanningley Bypass adding an extra 20 minutes to travel times for motorists.

Due to works at Stanningley By-pass, we are seeing long traffic queues and as a result, delays of up to 30 minutes to service X6.
According to one report, there is queueing traffic eastbound on the A647 Stanningley Road from the A657 Henconner Lane to Ledgard Way. Travel time is 20 minutes.
One local resident also reported that one of the slip roads going towards Bradford was closed causing traffic to back up.
