THREE men have been arrested in connection with an incident which saw Merseyside Police conduct an investigation in Bradford today (Thursday).
A police cordon was put in place this morning outside a car park off Mayo Avenue, Bradford.
Two police cars were at the scene for much of the day and could be seen at a location near a tea room and petrol station off Staithgate roundabout.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "Three men have been arrested in connection with a reported robbery in Knotty Ash (in Liverpool) yesterday evening, Wednesday, April 19.
"At around 6.30pm it was reported that a man got out of a black Ford Focus and approached the driver of a vehicle on Woolage Close and then drove off. The stolen vehicle was recovered by police a short time later in Longreach Road, Dovecot.
"No injuries were reported from the victim, but he was left very shaken by the incident.
"Three men from West Yorkshire and the surrounding area were arrested by West Yorkshire police officers yesterday evening, and they are in custody to be interviewed."
