A TV drama partly filmed in the Bradford is heating up as it reaches its penultimate episode.
The Hunt for Raoul Moat kicked off with a dramatic episode on ITV1 last night (Sunday, April 16).
The second episode will be screened tonight at 9pm and the series will conclude tomorrow.
Newcastle bouncer Moat, 37, killed his love rival Chris Brown, 29, in Birtley, Gateshead, in July 2010, then blasted his former lover Samantha Stobbart, leaving her in a critical condition.
The next night he shot and blinded unarmed PC David Rathband, who was sitting in a patrol car. The officer later took his own life.
Moat went on the run and a week-long manhunt followed.
ITV has released some teaser photographs from episode two.
In the guide to the second episode of three, ITV said: “With Moat still at large after a devastating attack, the police work against the clock to bring him in before he is able to inflict more damage.”
The thriller features Allerton-filmed scenes including a police investigation with marked cars, police officers and a forensic tent.
Filming also took place at some of the ginnels and paths in the area near the green.
