A DISQUALIFIED driver was caught driving "quickly" on a major Bradford road.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team - the force's dedicated initiative for tackling anti-social and dangerous driving - were out in the Greengates and Apperley Bridge area last night.
They spotted a white Ford Ranger Wildtrak driving "quickly" along Harrogate Road, towards the Greengates Crossroads.
Police stopped the vehicle and conducted checks on the driver's documents.
Officers discovered the person behind the wheel was banned from driving.
The car was seized, as a result.
The driver was also reported to court.
A spokesperson for the Steerside team said: "Whilst patrolling the area, former Steero Sergeant Brown sighted this vehicle driving quickly along Harrogate Road.
"A quick document check showed the driver to be disqualified.
"Driver reported and vehicle seized."
