Rate My Takeaway star Danny Malin has returned to Bradford for another food review.
Danny's iconic food reviews have taken him to some of the most unique and highly rated all over the North as well as cities in Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and the USA.
The YouTube personality parked up outside MOONS BURGER & CO with a simple question: Can this space themed takeaway take me out of this world?
MOONS is one of the newest ventures to open on Leeds Road, one of Bradford’s busiest food streets.
The restaurant offers a wide menu that includes burgers, pizzas and shakes among other delicacies.
It is owned by Mr Raja and Mr Iqbal, who plan to create an interactive environment for children to learn about space, planets, and the solar system.
Armed with his portable table and camping chair, Danny was ready to get stuck in and order.
He opted for a Peri Peri chicken flame grill burger, Istanbul chicken parmesan pieces and chips, and a Mars milkshake.
The burger is made up of grilled Peri Peri chicken, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cheese, home made relish and secret sauce.
"That is full of flavour," he said.
"What I wanted was to try just that simple burger because sometimes you can get all these massive burgers all piled up and the flavours, yeah they combine well, but sometimes it can run away with itself, it can get a bit sloppy.
"Sometimes you just want that simple chicken fillet with a bit of salad, Peri Peri sauce, that is banging."
The Istanbul parmesan consists of premium chicken coated in homemade cheese sauce, topped with fried red onions, peppers, green chillis, home made donner meat, Jalapeños, and cheddar cheese.
It is served with coleslaw or creamy cabbage and french fries.
He said: "They're nice, beautiful fries, nice and crispy, you know what you can't go wrong with them.
"Creamy coleslaw with a nice bit of flavour to it. But this is what I want to try, look at this, we've got doner meat, fried chicken steak, there's chillies, peppers, it smells amazing, oozing full of stuff.
"There's a bit of a kick there with chillies.
"You've got a nice bit of crunch in there between the cheese and the chicken."
He later added: "It's lacking one thing for me and that's that cheesy parmo sauce, it's supposed to ooze. It probably just needs a little bit more."
Danny went on to try the Mars ice cream shake, blended with hazelnut chocolate sauce and rich salted caramel syrup, banana puree, caramel fudge cubes topped with whipped cream and drizzled with toffee sauce.
"That is absolutely amazing," he said, before going in for another sip.
"Mars shake, has it took me to space? I would say it has."
Half way through the review, the owners brought Danny one of their newly-launched creations, the Juicy Chick burger, as well as a shake.
"Now that has got a crunch," he said.
Meanwhile the strawberry shake took him back to childhood memories of ice cream vans.
