A TEASER trailer has been released for a new TV drama series filmed across the Bradford district.

Malpractice, which was filmed last year at City Hall and Shipley Town Hall, the former Shipley tax office, plus homes in Eccleshill and Rawdon, will be broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX on a yet-to-be-confirmed date in the spring.

ITV has released a 20-second trailer for the new five-part drama series which features a medical syringe and bottle of tablets being crushed, with a ‘Malpractice – Coming Soon’ teaser tagline.

The story sees Niamh Algar play Dr Lucinda Edwards, a doctor working on a shift that ends in the death of opioid overdose victim Edith Owusu.

The plot sees Edith’s grieving father Sir Anthony Owusu demand an inquiry into Lucinda’s actions on the night of her death.

Leading the inquiry are Dr Norma Callahan, played by Helen Behan and Lucinda’s former colleague, Dr George Adjei, played by Jordan Kouamé.

Shipley Town Hall in Kirkgate was used as a location in June last year.
