A CAR stolen in a burglary was discovered after it was found using false number plates.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) were out on patrol in the Wrose area of Bradford when they made checks on a blue Mercedes.
The team posted about the job on its Facebook page last night and said the vehicle was displaying false registration plates.
It turned out the car had been stolen in a burglary in the Baildon area - around three miles away.
Police recovered the Mercedes for forensic work, as a result.
