A small number of GP practices in Bradford have faced abuse following technical issues this morning.
An issue with national network providers impacted IT systems that service a number of GP practices across Bradford District and Craven.
Some patients have found it difficult to contact their GP practice over the telephone and online through practice websites.
Anyone experiencing issues contacting their GP and needs urgent medical help should contact NHS 111 online or over the phone and let them know you’re unable to reach your practice.
People should continue to attend planned appointments.
A spokesperson for Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership said: "We expect this to be resolved in the next 24 hours but we’ll keep you updated.
"There have been reports of verbal abuse towards GP staff, this issue is out of their control and we believe that no member of staff should have to work in fear. Thank you for treating staff with respect."
The IT issues were resolved at 12.50pm on Wednesday, March 29, a spokesperson said.
The spokesperson added: "Thank you for your patience."
