A police officer is due to appear in court after being charged with battery and strangulation in West Yorkshire
The officer, who worked for Greater Manchester Police, was arrested following incidents in Halifax while he was off duty.
PC James Morrow, 29, of Rochdale District, has been charged with two counts of battery and one count of strangulation.
The investigation was completed by West Yorkshire Police.
Morrow has been suspended from duty and will appear at Bradford Magistrates Court on Monday, March 20.
