A DRIVER has been arrested after failing to stop for police.
Several police vehicles were seen rushing down Halifax Road with blue lights on in the direction of Shelf earlier this afternoon.
A police spokesperson said officers called for back-up.
The incident happened at around 1.40pm.
A large police presence has been seen around the Shelf Hall Lane area of the village.
