Police have urged drivers to watch their speed on one of Bradford's busiest routes.
PCSOs working on the Bradford South NPT conducted a speed watch on Rooley Avenue, heading up towards Odsal.
Police offers were responding to community concerns about speeding drivers in the area.
The speed limit along Rooley Avenue is 30mph.
During a half hour period, 187 cars passed by officers.
29 of these drivers were caught speeding in excess of 35mph.
In a message from Bradford South NPT, a spokesperson said: "Please, be conscious of your speeds, this is a busy road, with pedestrian activity and public spaces nearby, such as Odsal Stadium and the Top House public house.
"The last thing we want to be doing is making that knock on the door to let someone know their loved one has been killed or seriously injured due to someone in a hurry.
"Speed enforcement will be carried out going forward."
