POLICE seized thousands of pounds of Class A drugs, including crack cocaine, and cash in an operation.

Officers from the Huddersfield Neighbourhood Policing Team are continuing enquiries this week after making arrests following the seizure of suspected drugs at a property on Bradford Road, Huddersfield, on March 1.

More than 90 wraps of suspected crack cocaine valued at around £1,000 were recovered in the operation as well as £3,000 in cash.

Attending officers recovered two knives from the property.

A 34-year-old man was arrested from the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He has now been released under investigation.
