ALL lanes have reopened on the westbound carriageway of the M62 after an earlier report of a broken-down vehicle causing long traffic delays.
An earlier report, had said there long delays, as two lanes closed had to close due to a broken-down vehicle on the M62 westbound at Junction 23 A640 New Hey Road (Huddersfield).
The congestion had backed motorists up to just before Junction 25 (Brighouse).
However, that vehicle has now been recovered.
National Highways: Yorkshire tweeted: "This broken-down vehicle has now been recovered, and all lanes have re-opened on the M62 westbound in WestYorkshire between Junction 24 (Huddersfield) and Junction 23. An hour delay remains in the area, but this should now start to ease. Thanks for your patience this afternoon."
