A MAN has been arrested and appeared in court charged with burglary at a fish and chip shop in Bradford.
Police launched an investigation after a burglary at Rob's Plaice, on Crownest Road, Bingley, at around 7pm on Sunday.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said Mark O'Hara, 51, was charged with the Bingley fish and chip shop burglary and a previous burglary.
He appeared at Bradford Magistrates Court this morning (Tuesday).
The chippy was closed on Monday as police investigated the burglary.
At lunchtime today (Tuesday), Carol Riley, who owns the shop with her husband David, said they were cleaning up and hoping to reopen the business as soon they could.
