A DANCE programme for over 55s will present a flash mob performance at The Broadway Shopping Centre in Bradford on Wednesday to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Shoppers will be invited to dance with the Yorkshire Dance's Dance On group or come along as a spectator and enjoy either of the two five-minute performances at 12noon and 12.30pm.
Ian Ward, General Manager at The Broadway, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming back the flash mob into the Centre again to celebrate International Women’s Day.
“This is the fourth time the performance has appeared in the Centre and it is a great opportunity to support both Yorkshire Dance and Dance On.”
Hannah Treharne, from Yorkshire Dance, said: “Dance On has become an essential part of our participants’ lives, offering an activity that supports them to become healthier and socially connected.
“Our annual International Women’s Day Flashmob is a fantastic opportunity for participants from across Bradford and Leeds to come together, meet new people and celebrate their love of dance!”
Dance On participants across Bradford and Leeds have been rehearsing a short routine in their weekly classes. The general public is encouraged to join in, free of charge.
