PEOPLE have been urged to get their trainers on and take part in a 10k run around Bradford city centre this weekend.
This year’s Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k will be held on Sunday, March 12 and the run starts at 9am. Partial road closures will be in place from 7.30am this Sunday and fully closed from 8.30am. Roads will then re-open at 10.45am.
The race returned in September last year after three years following disruption to mass events during the pandemic.
The Bradford event raises vital funds for the 600,000 people living with epilepsy in the UK.
The Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k began in 2008. Since then, runners have raised more than £570,000 for the charity, with almost 15,000 runners crossing the finish line.
