A MAN from Scotland has been fined for speeding on a major Bradford district road.
Wojciech Koncelman, 45, of Arthur Street, Paisley, Renfrewshire, faced one charge of exceeding the 50mph speed limit in contravention of a local traffic order – manned equipment.
He was clocked driving a motor vehicle at 81mph in a 50mph speed limit zone on Sir Fred Hoyle Way, also known as Bingley Bypass. The offence took place on December 11, 2022.
Koncelman was handed six driving licence points, fined £660 and ordered to pay a £264 victim surcharge and £90 costs for the offence. A collection was made by the court the sentencing hearing.
The case against Koncelman was proven at a single justice procedure hearing and he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on February 24, 2023.
