A TOWN centre crash involved a car and a pedestrian, Yorkshire Ambulance Service has revealed.
Emergency services scrambled to Sykes Street in Cleckheaton just after 8pm on Saturday night.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service says one patient was taken to hospital.
The service sent two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, a doctor, and the Hazardous Area Response Team to the scene.
When the Telegraph & Argus approached West Yorkshire Police it said it was investigating the crash.
A spokesperson from the force said: "There was a significant accident which led to someone being hospitalised."
A spokesperson from Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "We received an emergency call at 8.10pm on Saturday evening to a report of a collision between a car and pedestrian on Sykes Street, Cleckheaton.
"A number of resources were dispatched to the scene including two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, a doctor and the Hazardous Area Response Team.
"One patient was conveyed to Leeds General Infirmary."
