A VEHICLE involved in a police chase through three villages before being abandoned was seized.
Officers first noticed the car on Saturday just over the frontier on Carr House Lane in Shelf.
Earlier in the week, the purple Nissan Micra had been reported as being an outstanding stolen vehicle.
The car failed to stop for the police leading to a lengthy pursuit which went through Shelf, Queensbury and Clayton.
It was eventually abandoned by the occupants, out of officers' view, on Wyvern Close in Scholemoor.
Police are still looking for the suspected occupants within the area.
The vehicle was seized and further enquiries will be conducted to identify and locate suspects.
