An investigation has been launched after a man threw a vape at a railway worker in a dispute over his ticket.
British Transport Police said the incident took place onboard a train travelling between Huddersfield and Bradford, just before 7pm on Wednesday, February 22.
A man threw the vape at a member of rail staff as other passengers intervened in the row.
The railway worker was struck on the back of the head as she tried to separate the groups.
The man got off the train at Halifax station and made off before police arrived at the scene.
