BRADFORD Teaching Hospitals has warned of disruption ahead of strike action by junior doctors later this month.
The British Medical Association announced a three-day walkout from Monday, March 13, and this will impact Bradford.
In a statement, Bradford Teaching Hospitals, which includes Bradford Royal Infirmary and St Luke's Hospital, said: "Junior doctors are doctors working in hospital who are not consultants but have an important role in patient care.
"We are currently contacting patients who are due to attend an appointment and/or receive treatment over the period of strike action (March 13-16).
"The planned walkout will cause a shortage of doctors and we are working hard to provide your appointments and/or treatment as planned.
"We will be in touch as soon as possible if we need to rearrange your appointment/planned treatment. If you don’t hear back from us, your appointment/treatment will be going ahead as planned, so please attend as normal.
"We would like to apologise for any inconvenience potential rearrangements may cause."
