A COMPANY that provides NHS eye patient services has revealed plans to move to a vacant office building in Bradford.
Spamedica has detailed plans to move to Standard House, at Trevor Foster Way near the top of the M606.
Until 2021 the building was used as the headquarters of Standard Wool.
Spamedica, which runs an Ophthalmology clinic at Eccleshill Treatment Centre, is the UK’s largest provider of NHS cataract surgery.

The plans to set up in the office building have emerged in a planning application to install air conditioning and a new bin store for clinical waste on the site.
The application says: “The proposal will enable a prospective occupier to be accommodated within the building to ensure it remains in use and continue to support the local economy.
“It is respectfully requested that the application is viewed favourably and approved without delay.”
