POLICE are investigating a cannabis farm found in a property in the Bradford East area, this morning.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue were called to a fire on Gaythorne Road, Lasiterdyke, Bradford at 8:52am.
Is it believed the fire was at an address on top of a shop.
Appliances from Bradford and Odsal were used to tackle the fire and it was extinguished at around 11:20am.
Police were notified by the fire service and found the remains of a cannabis farm.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police, said:"Police were notified by West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service at 9.13am today (Saturday, 25 February) of a fire at a property on Parsonage Road, Bradford.
"The remains of a cannabis farm were found within the address.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
Bus services are being diverted due to the incident. The 671 First Bus is diverting St Stephens Road, Manchester Road and Parkside Rd.
