OFFICERS in a Bradford neighbourhood policing team carried out three arrest warrants and recovered two stolen vehicles today (Thursday).
"It was a busy day for Bradford South NPT officers," said a spokesperson for the Bradford South Neighbourhood Policing Team. "Today started with some arrest enquiries for people wanted on warrant for a number of offences.
A 35-year-old man was arrested in Wyke. He was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in relation to drugs production offences. He appeared at court, was bailed and sent to Crown Court for trial.
A 40-year-old man was arrested in Low Moor. He was wanted on warrant for failing to appear in relation to drug driving. He appeared at court, was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £120, plus costs.
A 29-year-old man was arrested in Great Horton He was wanted on warrant for failing to appear in relation to disqualified driving and no insurance. He appeared at court and has now been disqualified for a further four months and fined £120, plus costs.
Officers also located a stolen moped in Great Horton while conducting the arrest enquiries and recovered it for the rightful owner.
They also recovered a stolen van on Kesteven Court in Holme Wood. The vehicle is going for forensic testing and will be returned to the rightful owner.
They also seized a vehicle on High Street, Wibsey. The driver had no insurance and will appear in court.
A spokesperson the NPT team also said the ward constable and sergeant also attended a partners meeting for Tong Ward at the TFD centre in Holme Wood.
