A ROAD towards Bradford has been closed this morning following a serious crash.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire tweeted: "Police are on scene at a serious road traffic collision in Stanningley Road, Leeds.

Incident on Stanningley Rd just after Cockshot Lane - Road closed in BOTH directions.
Services X11/X6/72 will divert via Branch Rd/Armley Town St/Greenhill Rd back on route at Henconner Lane (Bramley Town End)
Apologies.
"Road closures are in place on the bypass while enquiries continue at the scene.
"Motorists are asked to avoid the area at this time.
The crash has caused bus services to divert from the area.
First West Yorkshire tweeted: "SERVICE UPDATE Incident on Stanningley Road just after Cockshot Lane - Road closed towards Bradford.
"Services X11/X6/72 will divert towards Bradford via Branch Rd/Armley Town St/Greenhill Rd back on route at Henconner Lane (Bramley Town End). Apologies."
