A BRADFORD city centre casino is to undergo a grand £2 million refurbishment.
Work will commence at Napoleons Bradford, on Bolton Road, in a week's time.
The project has a completion goal of early June, but the venue will still be open the usual 24 hours a day during the revamp.
General Manager Barry Bradley said: “The innovation of Napoleons Bradford has been a long time coming having first opened our doors back in 1979, and after seeing the success of our Manchester branch we can’t wait for the Bradford restyle.
"We’d like to thank our wonderful customers in advance for their patience during the project and hope they love the new look Napoleons Bradford as much as we do.”
Napoleons has appointed the acclaimed Chapman Taylor to carry out the work.
The multi-award-winning architects have curated an Art Deco ambience to harmonise with the historic building's arch windows and framework.
There will also be the addition of intimate booths, an enhancement of the raised stage area in the restaurant, new relaxed seating in the bar, and a lot of attention to the feature ceilings and lighting.
Napoleons will be introducing a new Bar and Late Night Menu, which will be available throughout the casino, with the highlight being a new Small Plates selection which includes bao buns, king prawns, nachos, buffalo cauliflower wings and more.
Anticipation is high for the refurbishment completion, with entertainment and dining planned for the whole weekend.
The celebrations will begin on Friday, June 9, with an exclusive VIP evening.
Saturday will see the popular tribute night return to the restaurant.
On Sunday, there will be a casino relaunch with a buffet, prize draws and much more.
Following the Bradford redesign, Napoleons is also planning renovations on its Leeds site in the second half of the year.
Napoleons aspires to retain its existing recognitions, such as the Best Bar None Gold Accreditation and Best Late Night Venue in Bradford award.
The latter was achieved last month when over 130 people attended the maiden awards ceremony at the historic Midland Hotel.
It highlighted those who have gone the extra mile to make Bradford an even safer and more vibrant destination to visit.
In total, 11 gongs were handed out in a variety of categories and there were 15 venues in attendance to formally receive the Best Bar None accreditation.
