ONE of the stars of a Netflix movie being filmed in Bradford has confirmed she is in the UK this week.
Six Triple Eight, a drama set during the height of the Second World War, is set to be filmed in Bradford’s Little Germany tomorrow (Thursday, February 16).
The film follows the story of the Second World War’s only all-black, all-female unit.

Its cast is led by Kerry Washington, star of TV drama Scandal, who confirmed she was in the UK on Monday, February 13, in a tweet where she posted about pop superstar Rihanna’s performance at half-time during last Sunday’s Super Bowl.
She tweeted: “OKAY just woke up in the UK. And....Rihanna. That's all.”
Film fans in Bradford will be hoping that this means the star will be in the city for tomorrow’s filming day for the Netflix drama.
Other stars of Six Triple Eight include Susan Sarandon and talk show host and actor Oprah Winfrey.
Preparation work has been taking place on streets around Little Germany for a number of weeks and includes a red double-decker bus, a car that seems to be bomb damaged and a number of army recruitment posters on walls around the area.
