SEVERAL cars were destroyed when fire ripped through a commercial garage premises in Keighley town centre early this morning.
Crews from Keighley, Bingley and Silsden fire stations were called out to the incident, at about 1.30am.
They had to break into the premises, in Russell Street, to gain entry.
The firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hosereel water jets to bring the blaze under control.
A special high-pressure fan was also brought in to clear smoke from the building.
Keighley firefighter Miles Parkin said: "When we arrived, there was thick smoke coming from the shutter doors.
"On gaining entry, we discovered multiple cars were on fire.
"We had the fire under control quite quickly but were at the scene for several hours damping down."
The cause of the blaze is currently unknown.
