A PERSON had to be cut out of a car following a serious crash in West Yorkshire yesterday.
Two cars were involved in the incident on Wakefield Road in Brighouse - which happened just after 1pm - with one car being flipped onto its side as a result.
One person was trapped, and after being extricated by fire crews, was taken to hospital in an ambulance.
Fire engines from Rastrick and Huddersfield fire stations attended the incident, as did a technical rescue unit from Cleckheaton.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service has been contacted for more information.
