READ: 'It's frightening to see this in your own back yard' - Bradford community in shock

A POLICE cordon is in place as four men have been arrested following a disturbance at a Bradford home.

The incident occurred at a property on Rushton Road, off Leeds Road, at around 8.30pm on Wednesday.

Three men were arrested at the address and a fourth man was arrested at a house in Leeds shortly after.

Police believe someone, who is yet to come forward, was injured during the incident.

One shocked resident said: "It must have been serious, they had the police helicopter out last night.

"Someone must have been hurt.

"Police have been going door to door to ask if anybody saw something.

"It is just shocking to see this on your own street."

A police spokesperson said: "Detectives are appealing for witnesses after they were called to a disturbance on Rushton Road in Bradford yesterday evening.

"Officers arrived at the property at 20.34 and three males were arrested. A further male was arrested at an address in Leeds a short while later.

"A scene is currently in place whilst enquiries are ongoing."

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Farrell of Bradford CID said: “Our investigation is at an early stage and I would appeal to anyone in the area who saw anything suspicious to come forward.

“We have made several arrests in connection with the disturbance, we believe someone may have been injured who has yet to come forward, I would appeal directly to them to speak to us.
