DETECTIVES investigating a shooting incident in a West Yorkshire town are continuing to appeal for information after an arrest was made.

The Homicide and Major Enquiry Team are continuing with enquiries following the firearm discharge in Lister Lane, Halifax on the evening of Sunday, January 29.

A 26-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody at this time.

Officers are continuing to appeal for information and ask for anyone with any CCTV or dash cam footage, in particular, from the Gibbet and Pellon area to come forward.
