House prices in Bradford have gone down by an average of over £600, according to the latest figures from the Land Registry.

The latest data from the government department reveals that in November 2022 average house price in Bradford was £177,246.

This was down from £177,847 in October, representing a 0.3 per cent decrease. In the last 12 months it has risen by 9.1 per cent.

It comes as Nationwide Building Society reported that the average UK house price fell by 0.6 per cent in January 2023.

The fall in prices means Bradford is still well below the UK average. The typical property value in the nation reached £294,910 in the same time period.

In cash terms, the average house price in November was £27,540 higher than a year earlier - with house price growth accelerating to 10.3 per cent in November 2022. Prices were down by -0.3 per cent month on month.
