A new care home with its own salon and café has opened its doors in Shipley.
Shipley Manor, run by the St Marys Group, will specialise in residential and dementia care.
Branding itself as a “luxury care home”, the home has 66-bedrooms in total.
Shipley Manor marked the big day with a visit from the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Martin Love.
The Lord Mayor cut a blue ribbon as part of the grand opening.
Home Manager Sharon Burton said: “It was a fantastic day all round , we are excited to welcome in the people of Shipley looking for residential or dementia care to view this amazing facility and meet our amazing team.”
Leeds-based developer Torsion Care previously said the care home is expected to create around 40 to 50 jobs working on a rotational shift pattern of employment.
“86 per cent of these would be full-time positions and 14 per cent part-time,” the application read.
