Police are looking for "mindless" vandals who attacked 30 cars in one night in the same neighbourhood.
Shocking footage released by cops in Hull, East Yorkshire, shows a cyclist smashing dozens of car windows.
The clip shows two bikers riding along a dimly lit street before one begins to slam what appears to be a metal chain into the motors, sending their horns blaring.
The wrecking spree, which police branded incredibly “selfish”, took place between 3.40am and 4am on Wednesday (Jan 25) in the Boulevard area of the port city.
And fed-up residents of Carrington Street and Albemarle Street were left angry after being woken up in the early hours to find their expensive vehicles trashed.
Inspector Dave Lonsdale said the force was hunting the two cyclists in the hopes of getting justice for the community.
He said: “Whilst the footage we have so far been able to obtain and release today doesn’t show the faces of the two individuals, it highlights how mindless and selfish their actions were.
“If anyone has even the slightest inclination as to who they may be, maybe you suspect a teenager, friend or family member was out in the early hours when ordinarily they wouldn’t or shouldn’t have been, please get in touch with us.
“We understand the serious implications for the owners of the vehicles affected and we are working relentlessly to hold those account to their actions.
“Since the reports were made we have thoroughly reviewed every incident, conducted a number of enquiries, including sourcing and scouring CCTV footage which we are still carrying out, and making extensive house to house calls to try and gather as much information as possible.
“Our officers are continuing to patrol the area providing additional reassurance to residents and the local community throughout the day and night and we would encourage you to speak to us with any concerns."
